National Christian Academy is a K3-to-12 private school that has been around for more than 20+ years. Our football players draw strength and inspiration from God. Whether they're practicing hard or competing against other high school football teams, they do everything in God's name.

They are consistently trained by football coaches who have more than 20 years of experience in the sport.

MEET OUR HEAD FOOTBALL COACH

Coach Andre' Kates is a graduate from Indiana University with degrees in Sociology, Criminal Justice and a minor in coaching. Coach Kates attended Surrattsville High School under the direction of Thomas Green, and Friendship Collegiate Academy's Aazaar Abdul-Rahim. Kates signed to University of Florida in 2007 and was ruled academically ineligible due to NCAA Clearinghouse. In 2008 Andre Kates enrolled into a Junior College program (ASA COLLEGE) where he excelled tremendously. 247 Sports ranked Kates as the #1 player in the state of NY and #7 overall in the country as Defensive Back. 2009 Triumphant Sports National Junior College Player of the year racking over 32 D1 scholarship offers. He signed with Indiana University in the Big 10 conference where he was named Big 10 player to watch.



Coach Kates was given the opportunity to play for Baltimore Ravens where he was signed as a priority free agent on April 27, 2013. Upon injury he was released and started with his   mentoring and coaching career. He coached, and/or guided 40+ players off to college where they had the opportunity to play at the next level, and continue their education. With the knowledge, and resume' he was rewarded to coach at the nationally known "Nike Opening" in Washington D.C, and In NYC as Defensive Back coach. 


April 2016, he was hired to lead a staff of twelve talented, hardworking, and dedicated coaches to build National Christian Academy to be a nationally ranked program. When asked how long does he think it will take before his program grows he smiled and responded "with the coaches, parents, administration, and talented players we have we should be taking off in  5……4……..3……..2……..1
